"Embodying self care. What does that look like?

It's more than bubble baths and spa days.

It's embodying a way of being. Setting healthy boundaries, minding your energy and meeting yourself where you are at. It's processing and acknowledging your emotions. It's listening to your body. It's learning to trust yourself again and being confident in your decisions. It's knowing your needs or wants and being able to ask for them. It's being curious and open to learning. It's making time for healing & growth. It's taking accountability and action in a way that feels right for you. It's doing so with compassion, understanding, love and kindness. It's remembering to embrace all that you already are."

One to one support is ideal if you really want support just for you. For you to be the primary focus and tailor support to suit you in working around what is going on for you, eg TSI, IUI, IVF etc.

It is for you if you feel ready to really show up for you, to start exploring what is going on, how you are feeling as a result and how you want to be feeling.

Exploring wants, needs, beliefs, coping mechanisms, internal dialogue, external influences, responses, values, decision making, gut instinct, outdated route maps, boundaries, confidence, self worth, relationships, how you want to feel in all areas of your life, success steps and finding you again. Knowing you are enough and that no matter what happens or comes your way you can handle it and you will be ok. Helping you to feel calm, confident and in control of how you want to feel.

The type of support you need would depend on what is going on for you and where you are at on your journey. An initial phone call/chat will help in deciding what support would work best for you (remembering that it is person centred/focused/led and we would go with the flow/make changes as we go along if necessary).

Perhaps you need to begin with space to talk and process what has been going on for you, to start to make sense of things, to come from a place of overwhelm to a space of neutral so you can start to do the coaching element in taking steps to heal and move forward in a way that feels right for you. (Support with grief, loss, trauma).

Maybe you have been to counselling in the past, have done a lot of talking and feel reading to jump into the coaching piece. To become curious about how you currently feel, how you want to feel and the steps you can start to take to move towards that. To feel confident and live again, while you wait for your baby.

I use compassion and emotions focused support. Using psychotherapy, psychology, counselling and coaching modalities and mind/body techniques to support you in a way that feels right for you.

Sessions can be:

Intermittent one off sessions.

They can be bespoke packages of 4-10 sessions

They can be a variation of durations from 30, 60 or 90 minutes.

If you are starting into IVF soon - there is the IVF enhancement programme -

(3 x 90 minute sessions and a 60 minute session, minimum 4-6 weeks) Supporting you throughout the cycle/protocol, the egg retrieval, transfer, 2ww and with what comes next

Workshops are great if you would like support but you do not feel ready to talk.

They offer space to get curious about how you are feeling, how you want to be feeling, what is going on for you, internal dialogue, external influences, boundaries, beliefs, coping mechanisms, self care strategies, reaction vs responding and taking the steps towards finding you again.

You will have access to an mp3 relaxation recording and private instagram group space for live daily morning connections (replay available). The morning connections comprise of reflective questions to get curious and think about things. Along with a short body scan relaxation.

You also have access to a weekly live zoom relaxation session (evenings).

Group coaching is a different to workshops in that sessions are 90 minutes duration and have a maximum of 6-8 people in the group. There are 7 sessions and you have access to a support portal, mp3 recordings and journal space.

Unlike the workshops where you do not have to talk, coaching does involved interaction, sharing and accountability (you never have to share more than you feel comfortable too, but experience has show that the more you give, the more you get back in abundance and it very much adds to the group).

We go a little bit deeper with regards to beliefs, boundaries, wants, needs, relationships, support systems, coping mechanisms, internal dialogue, self care strategies, decision making, gut instinct, self worth, self acceptance, what you want, what’s holding you back, how you want to feel and how to take the action (with support  from myself and the group) to start doing something to bring about change. To discover who you are, what you need, how you want to feel in all areas of your life, to live in the wait instead of stuck in overwhelm and to feel confident in yourself and your ability to make decisions that feel right for you. To live in the wait while you wait for your baby.
